The Food
Ah, the food! There's something magical about the cuisine in this part of the world. Perhaps it's the rich soil, or the French passion for culinary excellence, but the flavours here are simply unforgettable. Food is a cornerstone of our cultural hiking retreat, and we take great pride in offering a delightful gastronomic experience.
Home-Cooked Meals
During your stay, we will be preparing a variety of French and Provençal recipes. Our menus will change with the seasons, ensuring that we use the freshest ingredients available. We work with local producers and almost without exception, we source organic produce to create delicious, wholesome meals. You'll be eating mostly traditional dishes that reflect the culinary heritage of this beautiful area.
Dining Out
To complement our home-cooked meals, we'll also dine out for one breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner during our trip. The local restaurants are exceptional, offering a range of incredible dishes that showcase the best of Provençal cuisine.
Food in Provence
The menus here are often rich in meat and fish, reflecting the local culinary traditions. While vegan options can be limited, the chefs in this region are generally accommodating and considerate of dietary preferences and restrictions. We strive to incorporate a variety of dishes, but please be aware that many of the classic and local recipes feature meat and fish.
Dietary Accommodations
Before the trip begins, please inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences you have. We want to ensure that every meal is enjoyable and suitable for you. Whether you're avoiding certain foods or have specific dietary needs, we'll do our best to accommodate and create a delicious experience for everyone.
